Nöjesguiden
When the entertainment guide magazine Nöjesguiden recently turned 30, they celebrated by throwing themselves at Stockholm’s crazy property market. We had the great honour to develop the concept.
The free magazine Nöjesguiden turned 30 in 2012 and wished to celebrate by moving away from home. We created a c/o Nöjesguiden concept for their pop-up space at the hotel Scandic Malmen in Stockholm. The premises served as a workplace for the editorial office and also as a meeting place for the readers during the entire autumn of 2012. The size and style of the flat reflected the property market of central Stockholm for young people, characteristic of the period – compact, individual, and second-hand. The design and décor produced in co-operation with Note Design Studios was remade every month to match the magazine’s cover at the time. All furniture came from IKEA, which in this way made direct contact with an interesting target group – the young Södermalm hipsters.
When the Nöjesguiden magazine recently turned 30 whe helped them celebrate by moving into a small room facing the street (of course equipped with an IKEA ball pit) at the hip hotel Scandic Malmen.
