Employer branding peps up the job for employees in Swedish municipalities and county councils.
In the coming ten years, the municipalities and county councils of Sweden face the challenge of having to recruit 420,000 new employees. To increase the pride and power of attraction of the community sector, Futurniture was commissioned by the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR) to create a design platform and communications initiative on the subject Sveriges Viktigaste Jobb (Sweden’s Most Important Job). First, we designed almost 40 posters to pep up everybody that already has the most important Jobs in the country. Since there are 289 municipalities and 19 county councils in the country, the most difficult job in the country is to get all of them to move in the same direction. As a solution, we created an open trademark site with practical tools for all communicators in the country. The next step is to reach the youth in the country and tell them about the exciting and important jobs available.
