Hur hjälper vi besökarna på Moderna Museet att hitta rätt? Att upptäcka konst och salar som de inte visste fanns. Moderna Museets nya skyltkoncept bygger på idén att ”hörnen visar vägen”. Vi inspirerades av gathörnen i en stad, vilka fungerar som naturliga vägvisare. På museet används pelare och hörn för vägledning och orientering. Här placerades skyltar, ikoner, kartor och skärmar. Eftersom besökarna naturligt rör sig runt hörnen, belev de logiska platser att stanna upp och hitta de olika utställningarna, salarna och faciliteterna. Skyltarna är utformade med tillgänglighet i fokus. Till varje text finns ikoner som representerar olika typer av utställningar och salar. Kort och tydlig tas alla mot sitt eget mål.

How do we help visitors to Moderna Museet find their way? To discover art and rooms they didn't know existed. Moderna Museets new sign concept is based on the idea that "corners finds the way". We were inspired by street corners in a city, which act as natural signposts. The museum uses pillars and corners for guidance and orientation. Since visitors naturally move around corners, they experience logical places to stop and find the different exhibitions, rooms and facilities. The signs are designed with accessibility in focus. Each text is accompanied by icons that represent different types of exhibitions and rooms. Short and clear, everyone is taken towards their own goal.
